Yoga has brought me awareness, happiness and contentment. For me, yoga is a form of meditation in movement, a practice of love within oneself and in the world. It has expanded my heart and brought me into harmony with my body. My everyday practice is keeping me conscious and humble to notice the beauty and value of EVERY experience in life. Yoga is a day-to-day reminder that nothing is static or permanent but rather everything is constantly changing.
I've been practicing various yoga styles for more than 7 years. While living in Scotland, I practiced Ashtanga Yoga style with Indian teacher Prasad Pattnaik. Rebecca Murray, a wonderful friend and mentor from England, introduced me to dynamic approaches of yoga from where my own discoveries have started. In Estonia, I have practiced under the guidance of two amazing souls Gerli and Ereli Järv in Joogaruum studio. Their approach to teaching has inspired me tremendously.
In the spring of 2018, I graduated from 200YTT Shamanic Yoga Teacher Training Course with an American-rooted teacher Levi Banner in Indonesia, Bali. The course contained of Vinyasa Flow in-depth training, Shamanic breathwork practice and Restorative Yoga. Last summer I lived and worked in the mountains of Norway, in a small village called Flåm, where I taught Vinyasa Flow, Restorative and Yin yoga. Vinyasa Flow power-style practice that I am now sharing in Tartu Yoga Center has mostly grown out from my daily practice and teaching experience in Norway.
Looking forward to see you in my class!
